hello and welcome to the TNDR•TUFF•TEMPLE where every visit is a taste of the world to come! i’m shira meblin and my humble hands are the orchestrators behind each offering here in the temple. within these walls every guest is an altar and every offering is a ritual. throughout your visit you will be adorned with organic botanicals, rest into my touch, and at times be lulled into slumber by song. what we create together in this space goes beyond selfcare. we step outside of time and indulge in that kind of liberated rest that rejuvenates our spirits and births us back into this world fortified and standing in our values; ready to continue fighting for a world worth living for! i am practiced in a myriad of modalities that inspire both rest and results including facial sculpting massage, intraoral buccal massage, lymphatic flow, myofascial release, as well as somatic practices, herbal accompaniment, consultation, and formulation. all custom formulas provided through herbal accompaniment are made by my hands with plants & people in mind & heart. the botanicals i work with in treatments are organic and handmade at BOTNIA in sausalito, ca. many ingredients are grown onsite in their micro farm. others are sourced from farmers local to the area; some of whom i went to herb school with. these botanicals are as close to the earth as it gets! my herbal & ritualist lineage stems from the opshprekerin (אָפּשפּרעכערין), jewish folk herbalists in the shtetls of the pale of settlement & the curandeirxs of the azores islands off the coast of portugal, who both seamlessly wove plant, prayer, and ritual to tend to our communities. i call on and incorporate these ancestors & practices in my herbal accompaniment work and will often encourage the people i work with to reach toward their own ancestry in order to discover the plants that may speak to their bones in ways that plants used by other cultures and customs may not. at the root of it all, i am a plant person, and my relationship with both plants & people is the foundation from which TNDR•TUFF blossoms. schedule a visit and let’s weave ritual together! 🌀shira *i am an herbalist, not a doctor. i DO NOT diagnose or treat disease. i DO cultivate relationships between plants & people to address cycles of imbalance in spirit & soma.
